About the Claims Process
When you report a loss, you will receive a claim number for reference. Keep this number available in case you need to inquire about your claim.
All claims are assigned to your personal claims adjuster. The adjuster will contact you by phone within 24 hours of the filing your claim to schedule a day and time to inspect the damages.
To expedite your claim, we ask our adjusters to inspect damages within 72 hours from the date reported.
To help avoid further damage to your home, you can make minor repairs (i.e., placing tarps on damaged roofs or boards on broken windows); be sure to keep your repair receipts.
If possible, gather the following information prior to meeting with your claims adjuster: an inventory of damage items (including photos and/or receipts) and a copy of the fire or police department’s report (if applicable).
